Combined HSL / A4 project
From the Ringvaart aqueduct the HSL will run beside the west side of the A4 motorway. While the HSL is under construction this section of the A4 will be widenend from 2x2 lanes to 2x3 lanes. The coming of the HSL and the widening of the A4 also mean that alterations will be necessary to the N445 trunk road, including the interchanges with the A4.
